WWE Crown Jewel Moves to a New Venue in Riyadh
By Ishtiaq Hussain | Last updated: 29 October 2026
WWE Crown Jewel has moved to a new venue in Riyadh, ten days before the show. Riyadh Season confirmed the move on Wednesday 28 October 2026, with full refunds for every ticket holder and a new ticket sale within 48 hours. The date stays Saturday 7 November 2026, and the four confirmed matches stay as announced. The Boulevard Riyadh City homepage carries the season calendar, and our WWE Crown Jewel Riyadh 2026 guide carries the new venue position.
What Riyadh Season announced
Riyadh Season posted the announcement on X on Wednesday afternoon, in Arabic and English: the show had moved to a new venue, all ticket holders will receive a full refund, and tickets will be re-released to everyone within 48 hours. It named no new venue and gave no reason for the move. WWE had not commented by the end of Wednesday, according to the wrestling press reports that followed.
The original venue was Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD, the temporary outdoor stadium that opened for the Royal Rumble in January 2026. A fan video on 24 October had shown the Crown Jewel stage already going up there, according to BoxingInsider. Ticket buyers should use the re-release listing, not the original one.
What ticket holders must do
A ticket from the original sale does not carry over to the new venue. Riyadh Season says every buyer gets a full refund, so no one needs to apply for one on the wording published so far. Every buyer must then buy again when tickets are re-released, within 48 hours of the announcement, which points to a new sale by Friday 30 October.
No priority access has been announced. The 80 SAR starting price applied to the original sale only; new prices will come with the new sale, sold through WeBook.
The new venue is not confirmed yet
Fightful Select and PWInsider both reported that the show is expected to stay in Riyadh at a different building. Fightful Select also reported that people inside WWE headquarters first learned of the change from the Riyadh Season post itself, not from WWE in advance.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer went further and reported Kingdom Arena as the expected new venue, while adding that the position stood only as of that hour. That report is not a confirmation: neither Riyadh Season nor WWE has named Kingdom Arena, so this site does not present it as the venue. Note also that several outlets have used Kingdom Arena and The Venue interchangeably for Saturday’s boxing card, though WeBook puts Canelo against Mbilli at The Venue.
The card stays the same
The venue move leaves the wrestling itself unchanged: four matches are confirmed, and our Crown Jewel tag title match article sets out how the fourth bout was made on Raw.
| Match | Competitors |
|---|---|
| Men’s Crown Jewel Championship | Roman Reigns vs Sami Zayn |
| Women’s Crown Jewel Championship | Liv Morgan vs Chelsea Green |
| Last Man Standing match | Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton |
| World Tag Team Championship | The Vision vs Penta and Je’Von Evans |
The card is still not final: the 30 October SmackDown title defences could still change the champion against champion pairings.
Six days before the announcement, TKO chairman Ari Emanuel said on Fox News that everything was still set for the show. For the full season picture, see our Riyadh Season 2026 hub, and for the January precedent at the original stadium, our Royal Rumble recap.
The boxing card next door stays put
Saturday’s boxing card, by contrast, stays put: Canelo Alvarez against Christian Mbilli stays on Saturday 31 October at The Venue in Riyadh, according to the official WeBook listing, with tickets from 50 SAR. The card is still one fight short, with no replacement named for Biyarslanov by Wednesday. DAZN’s updated listing puts the ring walk at roughly 4:30pm ET, which is 11:30pm in Riyadh.
What happens next
Two announcements will settle this story: the new venue name and the new ticket sale, both expected within 48 hours of the post.

Do I need to buy a new ticket for Crown Jewel?
Yes. Riyadh Season says all ticket holders will receive a full refund, and tickets will be re-released within 48 hours. A ticket from the original sale does not carry over.
Has the Crown Jewel date or match card changed?
No. The show stays on Saturday 7 November 2026, and the four confirmed matches stay as announced: Reigns against Zayn, Morgan against Green, Rhodes against Orton in a Last Man Standing match, and The Vision against Penta and Evans.
