WWE Crown Jewel Adds World Tag Team Title Match

Penta and Je’Von Evans will challenge The Vision for the World Tag Team Championship at WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh on Saturday 7 November 2026. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce made the match official on Monday Night Raw on 26 October, after the challengers asked for the title shot backstage. The addition takes the Crown Jewel card to four matches.

How the tag title match was made
The match grew out of the opening bout of Raw on 26 October in Fresno, California. Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn defended his title against Je’Von Evans, and Penta came to ringside with his Money in the Bank briefcase and a referee, teasing a cash-in during the match.
Bron Breakker attacked Penta before he could act, and Evans answered with a dive to the floor. Zayn used the distraction to finish Evans with a Helluva Kick and keep his title. After the bell, Breakker attacked Evans again, Bronson Reed joined the assault, and Logan Paul watched from the apron while The Vision stood over both men.
Later in the broadcast, Pearce visited Penta and Evans in the trainer’s room. Evans said he was not finished with The Vision, and Penta demanded a shot at the World Tag Team Championship. Pearce agreed on the spot, and the title match became official for Crown Jewel.

Three of the four bouts carry a championship. The Reigns against Zayn and Morgan against Green bouts are champion against champion, while Rhodes against Orton has no title at stake and is settled only when one man cannot answer the referee’s ten-count.
Penta’s briefcase keeps one more threat live
Penta still holds the Money in the Bank contract, so he can challenge for a world title at any time. Both world champions will be in the building at Crown Jewel for the Reigns against Zayn bout, which gives the briefcase a live backdrop all night. The tag title match does not remove that threat, and it gives Penta a second route to a title on the same show.
The card can still change on 30 October
The card is not final yet. On SmackDown on 30 October in Charleston, Zayn defends the Undisputed WWE Championship against Trick Williams, and Green defends the WWE Women’s Championship against Nikki Bella. If either champion loses, the champion against champion pairings at Crown Jewel change with them. Wrestling press reported the two defences on 24 October.
