Riyadh UFC and Boxing Results: February 2025 Recap
Last updated: 22 October 2026
Riyadh hosted two major fight nights in February 2025, and both events are now finished. On 1 February 2025, UFC Fight Night headlined by Israel Adesanya vs Nassourdine Imavov took place at ANB Arena. On 22 February 2025, the boxing card headlined by the Dmitry Bivol vs Artur Beterbiev rematch, known as The Last Crescendo, took place at Kingdom Arena. This page is now a results recap of those past events.
UFC Saudi Arabia: Adesanya vs Imavov
The UFC Fight Night on 1 February 2025 took place at ANB Arena in Riyadh. The main event featured Israel Adesanya against Nassourdine Imavov. Adesanya was renowned for his striking ability, but he did not have an unblemished or undefeated record. He had losses on his record before this February 2025 fight in Riyadh. Imavov faced him as the rising contender with an aggressive fighting style, in a contest that tested skill, strategy and determination.
The co-main event saw Shara Magomedov face Michael Page. Magomedov brought relentless pressure and varied striking, while Page brought a reach advantage and unpredictable movement, and their matchup provided a contrasting display of martial arts on the night.
Boxing: The Last Crescendo, Bivol vs Beterbiev 2
On 22 February 2025, Riyadh hosted the boxing card known as The Last Crescendo. The card was headlined by the rematch between Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev, a light heavyweight contest that brought together the precision and strategy of Bivol against the explosive power and aggression of Beterbiev. The Last Crescendo was the name of this February 2025 card. Day of Reckoning was a different Riyadh card held in December 2023.
The heavyweight bout on the card did not take place as originally billed. Daniel Dubois had been due to face Joseph Parker, but Dubois withdrew ill before the fight. Martin Bakole stepped in as the late replacement to face Parker, and Joseph Parker won by knockout against Bakole. Dubois vs Parker therefore did not happen. The card also included the middleweight bout between Hamzah Sheeraz and Carlos Adames for the WBC middleweight title held by Adames.
The Venues: ANB Arena and Kingdom Arena
The UFC Fight Night on 1 February 2025 was held at ANB Arena, not Kingdom Arena. The Last Crescendo boxing card on 22 February 2025 was held at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh. Both arenas hosted world class combat sports during February 2025, with facilities and atmospheres suited to high stakes live events.
